RETRIEVAL SYSTEM AND RETRIEVAL METHOD FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retrieval system capable of retrieving information on related characters by an image and a retrieval method for the retrieval system.SOLUTION: A retrieval system includes: a receiving module for receiving an image sent by using a search engine of a web page; an analysis module for analyzing features of the received image and extracting an N-1-th similar image just before N similar images in which values of similarity are arranged in descending order from an image database by values of similarity; an extraction module for extracting position data in which a similar image is located on a web page and character data written around the similar image; a scoring module for calculating scoring from the extracted character data; and a retrieval module for inputting N extracted nouns or noun phrases to the retrieval engine as keywords and retrieving all related sentences and transmitting retrieval results to a user.
