PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating film and a formation method of the same, capable of preventing a color change caused by corrosion of a metallic material surface even when used in heat processing at production or in an outdoor environment for a long term, and capable of forming a coating film excellent also in wire-bonding characteristics on a metallic material surface.SOLUTION: Under an ambient pressure, a hexamethyldisiloxane compound is mixed with a nitrogen gas as a carrier gas and sprayed into a nitrogen plasma gas, the hexamethyldisiloxane compound is polymerized by being made a radical, and a polysiloxane film of a thickness of 4 nm to 14 nm, composed of polysiloxane whose main chain is -(Si-O-Si)- is formed on a metallic material surface.
