PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an output characteristic when providing an electrode that uses a conventional non-organic radial compound as an active substance without using an organic radial compound as an active substance.SOLUTION: A secondary battery comprises an electrode assembly in which a positive electrode 13 having an active substance layer 13a formed by applying an active substance 22 made of a non-organic radial compound on both faces of a metal foil 16, and a negative electrode are laminated while a separator exists between them. The positive electrode 13 has a larger volume amount of the active substance 22 on a side farther from the metal foil 16 than a center in a thickness direction of the active substance layer 13a than a volume amount of the active substance 22 on a side nearer the metal foil 16 than the center. A ratio of the volume amount of the active substance 22 on the nearer side relative to the volume amount of the substance 22 on the farther side is 95% or less. |
