PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a wrong operation when an unintentional contact is input to a touch panel.SOLUTION: A portable terminal comprises: a display part 2 that displays display data; a touch panel 3 that is arranged to be overlapped on the display part; a holding state setting part 10 that sets whether a usage form of the portable terminal is a holding state where the portable terminal is operated by a hand; a display adjustment part 6 that adjusts a display area of the display data caused to be displayed on the display part on the basis of the usage form set by the holding state setting part; a touch area adjustment part 7 that adjusts an input effective area where a touch input to the touch panel is determined to be effective on the basis of the usage form set by the holding state setting part; a touch input determination part 8 that detects a touched position on the touch panel and determines whether the detected touched position on the touch panel falls within the input effective area or not; and a control part 1 that, when it is determined that the touched position on the touch panel falls within the input effective area, causes a prescribed function corresponding to the touched position to be executed. |
