PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve resistance to forgery of a printed matter by manufacturing the printed matter having a target image of authenticity discrimination, in which a binary image is concealed in a color image, performing prescribed processing on the color image in a visible light region and a multilevel image in an infrared light region, which are read from the printed matter, extracting a discrimination feature, comparing and collating the discrimination feature with a reference feature and discriminating authenticity of the printed matter.SOLUTION: A printed matter manufacturing method includes at least an image input step, a color decomposition step, an image enhancement step, a pseudo gradation step, an image operation step, a lightness conversion step, a lightness correction step, and a printing step. An authenticity discrimination method includes at least an image acquisition step, a color decomposition step, a contrast conversion step, an image operation step, a discrimination image generation step, a feature extraction step, and an authenticity discrimination step. |
