PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spherical belt-shaped seal body capable of eliminating a risk of falling down from an end portion of an exhaust pipe extending in a vertical direction or obliquely downward, thereby improving mounting workability.SOLUTION: A spherical belt-shaped seal body 35 for use in an exhaust pipe joint includes a spherical belt-shaped base 33 and an outer layer 34. The spherical belt-shaped base 33 is defined by a cylindrical inner surface 29, a partially projected spherical-shaped surface 30, and annular end surfaces 31 and 32 respectively on a large diameter side and a small diameter side of the partially projected spherical-shaped surface 30. The outer layer 34 is integrally formed on the partially projected spherical-shaped surface 30 of the spherical belt-shaped base 33. |
