PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology with which transmission and reception of facsimile data can be more reliably performed by performing a cooperative operation with software to set transmission and reception even on a facsimile apparatus that cannot set transmission and reception for a fault of transmission and reception as hardware.SOLUTION: The facsimile server reduces error occurrence probability by storing an error code occurring when facsimile apparatus is controlling transmission and reception of facsimile data, and storing by associating a facsimile apparatus number of a destination where the error of the error code occurs to change a setting of transmission and reception for the next transmission and reception.
