The present invention relates to a heat pump system without a separate defrosting cycle, and more particularly, to a dual cycle heat pump system which has a low temperature acquiring cycle where heat in the air is absorbed from an external evaporator by using a refrigerant having good low temperature properties and a high temperature acquiring cycle where heat from the low temperature acquiring cycle is absorbed through heat exchanging by using a refrigerant having good high temperature properties for supplying hot water and heating, so as to solve the problem wherein the external evaporator is frosted in a hard winter season to decrease the energy exchange with air, thus causing the difficulties in the evaporation of the refrigerant liquid, the reduction of heat efficiency, and the failure due to the load of a compressor. Accordingly, the heat pump system of the present invention further includes a defrosting condenser on the high temperature acquiring cycle, so that the refrigerant of the high temperature acquiring cycle and heat transfer medium (antifreezing liquid) having low freezing point are heat-exchanged through a heat absorption heat exchanger and then sent to the external evaporator for defrosting, and the residual heat is absorbed again to the low temperature acquiring cycle together with the air heat through the external evaporator and sent to the high temperature acquiring cycle. Hence, a separate defrosting cycle is not necessary, thereby increasing economic efficiency. |
