<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the body of a user or a floor around the user from being stained with toner deposited on a communication port of a support member.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus of the present invention includes: a toner container 9 having a container body 20 with an outlet 42 and a shutter mechanism 21 for opening/closing the outlet 42; and a mount member to/from which the toner container 9 is attached/detached. The shutter mechanism 21 includes: a support member 43 having a communication port 48 communicating with the outlet 42; a first shutter member 44 which adopts a close posture for closing the outlet 42 and the communication port 48 while the toner container 9 is detached, and adopts an open posture for opening the outlet 42 and the communication port 48 while the toner container 9 is attached; and a second shutter member 45 which adopts a covering posture for externally covering an edge at the back of the communication port 48 in a mounting direction while the toner container 9 is detached, and adopts an exposure posture for exposing the edge at the back of the communication port 48 in the mounting direction while the toner container 9 is attached.</p> |
