In certain embodiments, the outer member at least partially surrounds an inner member, and the outer and inner members are configured so that an implantable medical endoprosthesis can be disposed between the outer and inner members.

an inner shaft; an deployment shaft disposed about the inner shaft; a stent disposed between the inner shaft and the deployment shaft; a handle; a connector coupled to the handle and coupled to the inner shaft; wherein the deployment shaft includes a rack portion, the rack portion having a longitudinal slot defined therein; and wherein a least a section of the connector is disposed within the longitudinal slot.
