The present invention relates to a method and a device for inspecting a flat panel display. The method automatically inspects a malfunction of a link line unit by including a step of photographing the link line unit, which is formed on a display panel and includes a plurality of link lines, using a camera and supplying the photographed images to an automatic inspecting unit; and a step in which the automatic inspecting unit analyzes the images and inspects a malfunction of the link line unit. The step in which the automatic inspecting unit inspects a malfunction of the link line unit includes a first step which determines whether the images are in an active region or an inactive region; a second step which determines whether the images are images of the link line unit or not if the images are in the inactive region; and a third step which extracts and analyzes the outline of the images and determines whether the link line unit is malfunctioned or not if the images are images of the link line unit. |
