PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer device that can easily and surely transfer with a simple configuration a palette with a load mounted thereon from a first position to an adjacent second position even when the palette includes a slip stopper.SOLUTION: A transfer device includes: a sliding member 2 to mount a palette 1 thereon; a driving means 4 that constitutes a forward moving means for moving forward the sliding member 2 with the palette 1 mounted thereon from a first position P1 to a second position P2, and a backward moving means for moving backward the sliding member 2 from the second position P2 to the first position P1 while leaving the palette 1 at the second position P2; and a return prevention mechanism 3 for preventing the palette 1 from being returned together with the sliding member 2 from the second position P2 to the first position P1 when the sliding member 2 is subjected to the backward movement from the second position P2 to the first position P1. |
