PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring device and measuring method for measuring hemoglobin concentration without diluting blood.SOLUTION: A hemoglobin measuring device is removably provided with a biosensor 11 on a main body of the device. The biosensor 11 comprises a first electrode 24, a second electrode 26, a space 40 into which a sample is introduced, and areas 38 and 42 applied with a chemical reagent containing an electron-transfer mediator which can be reduced by cholic acid system surface active agent and hemoglobin. The main body of the device in a state that the biosensor 11 is mounted comprises voltage impression means applying voltage to the first electrode 24 and the second electrode 26 of the biosensor 11, and current measurement means measuring the current value arising between the first electrode 24 and the second electrode 26. |
