<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a computer peripheral device with a high USB standard to provide a computer system with a low USB standard.SOLUTION: In the computer peripheral device applied to a computer system having a system side connection interface, the computer peripheral device comprises a device side connection interface, an impedance unit, and a control unit. The device side connection interface includes a power supply pin and a ground drain pin. The power supply pin is electrically connected to a power level of the computer system to generate a voltage level on the ground drain pin. The impedance unit is electrically connected to the power supply pin and the ground drain pin of the device side connection interface individually to selectively decrease the voltage level of the ground drain pin. The control unit is electrically connected to the ground drain pin of the device side connection interface to determine a standard of the system side connection interface in the computer system on the basis of the voltage level.</p> |
