<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus which can recover from a malfunction easily.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus includes a body with a battery, a display unit turnably attached to the body, a button switch having a first function, a sensor for detecting the display unit closed, a power management controller, a power supply circuit, and a power source controller. The power management controller manages electric power of the information processing apparatus. The power supply circuit supplies operation power source to a component constituting the information processing apparatus using the power supplied from the battery. The power source controller is connected to the button switch and the sensor. When the button switch is depressed and the sensor detects that the display unit is closed, the power source controller transmits a reset signal to the power management controller, to cause the power management controller to execute initialization processing.</p> |
