PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten rising time of blow of hot air at start of heating in an air conditioner.SOLUTION: An air conditioner in an embodiment includes: a compressor; a cooling/heating switch four-way valve; an indoor heat exchanger; a throttle valve; an outdoor heat exchanger; a pipe; and a control unit. The pipe forms a circulation circuit that circulates refrigerant among the compressor, the outdoor heat exchanger, and the indoor heat exchanger. The compressor is arranged in a circulation circuit between the indoor heat exchanger and the outdoor heat exchanger. The four-way valve is arranged among the compressor, the indoor heat exchanger, and the outdoor heat exchanger. The throttle valve is arranged to be put between the indoor heat exchanger and the outdoor heat exchanger. A heat storage unit is provided on an outer periphery of the compressor and the heat storage unit pressure-contacts the compressor.
