<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a planetary gear train of an automatic transmission for a vehicle which has improved mountability and power transmission performance, and which allows fuel economy and backing performance to be improved.SOLUTION: The planetary gear train of an automatic transmission for a vehicle includes: a first shaft to which a power of an engine is transmitted; a second shaft arranged in parallel with the first shaft while being spaced apart by a constant distance; a complex planetary gear set; and a frictional element. The complex planetary gear set is arranged on the second shaft and includes: a first rotating element which is selectively connected to the first shaft through two passages and at the same time acts as a selective fixing element; a second rotating element which is selectively connected to the first shaft through one passage and at the same time acts as a selective fixing element; a third rotating element operated as an output element; and a fourth rotating element which is selectively connected to the first shaft through one passage. The frictional element comprises: two transfer gears placed at a connecting part between the rotating element of the complex planetary gear set and the first shaft; a crutch for selectively connecting the first, second, fourth rotating elements to the first shaft; and a brake selectively connecting the first and second rotating elements to a transmission housing.</p> |
