A thermoplastic polyethylene composition comprises a polyethylene resin having a deformation capacity of less than 10% at 115 DEG C., 5 to 70 parts of the resin of a hydrocarbon rubber, and 17 to 100 parts of rubber and resin of a flame-resistant compound. Specified hydrocarbon rubbers are polybutadiene, polyisobutylene butyl rubber, butadiene styrene and butadiene isoprene. Specified flame resistant compounds are a mixture of a metal oxide with a chlorinated wax and a mixture of antimony oxide with a chlorinated paraffin wax. |
