The method involves supplying a sealing unit (2) with preformed tubular casings and sealing structures in the form of flat portions. Each sealing structure is inserted into a forming tool, and is formed in a bowl. The bowl in the tubular casing is inserted, placed and sealed using the forming tool. The side wall of tubular casing is precut and the lid along a peripheral line is partially precut, if sealing structure is a lid. The operation of the end of the package bearing is finished, if the sealing structure is lid.
