<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an encoding device which encodes at least two component signals representing luminance and chrominance in the original signal of a prescribed image format, as well as a decoding device and a program. <P>SOLUTION: The encoding device comprises local decoding means which generates a local decoding signal of a second component signal of at least two component signals; luminance-to-chrominance predication means which compares the original signal of a first component signal before encoding and the local decoding signal to generate normalization parameters for the second component signal and also corrects the local decoding signal with the normalization parameters to predict the original signal; predication signal generation means which generates a prediction signal for intra-screen or inter-screen prediction with respect to a first component signal; synthesizing means which synthesizes the predication signal and the luminance-to-chrominance predication signal together by adding weights to generate a corrected prediction signal for a first component signal; and encoding means which applies encoding to a difference signal between the corrected prediction signal and the original signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
