摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tubular battery sealing gasket equipped with sufficient battery capacity, secure stress buffering functionality, and high safety and productivity. SOLUTION: The present invention relates to an approximately disk-shaped sealing gasket 10a to be used for a tubular battery 1a, configured by accommodating an annular positive electrode binder 3 and a negative electrode binder 5 in a bottomed and cylindrical battery can 2 which is opened upward. The sealing gasket includes: a boss part 12 to which a rod-shaped negative electrode collector 6 is inserted in the center of the disk; an outer tubular part 13 constituting a wall surface erected upward in an outer circumference of the disk; a disk-shaped part 14 communicating the boss part and the outer tubular part; and a thin part 15 formed on a surface of the disk-shaped part. In the disk-shaped part, a stress buffering part 30a and a flat part 16a maintaining an approximately horizontal surface continuously to the stress buffering part are concentrically formed from the boss part toward the outer tubular part. The stress buffering part is tilted upward from an edge of the boss part toward the outer tubular part, and then bent downward at an obtuse angleθat a bending point 31a, and the bending point is positioned at a side of a cylinder axis 20 of the battery can with respect to a shape of an annular upper end face 3s of the positive electrode binder.
