<p>A rotation detection device for detection of rotation of a vehicle pedal around an axis of rotation, comprising a movable first part, which accompanies the rotational motion of the pedal, a stationary second part, a magnetic field sensing component arranged in the first or in the second part and a magnetic element arranged in that part of the first or the second part that does not comprise the magnetic field sensing component when the first and the second part are moving in relation to each other.
