an acquisition unit configured to acquire information indicating a difference in thickness between corresponding layers in at least two of a plurality of three-dimensional tomographic images of an eye captured at different times; a determining unit configured to determine opacity based on the acquired information indicating the difference; and a display control unit configured to cause a display unit to display at least one of the plurality of three-dimensional tomographic images using the determined opacity.
