The present invention relates to a shielding material, a manufacturing method thereof, and a container for shielding radiation. The present invention provides the shielding material comprising a modifier including silicon-containing water-solubilized minerals, zeolites, and cement; and a method of manufacturing the same. In addition, the present invention provides the shielding material comprising the modifier including silicon-containing water-solubilized minerals, the zeolites, a powder foaming agent, and a synthetic resin material; and a method of manufacturing the same. Moreover, the present invention provides the container for shielding radiation, including a first shield material and a second shield material. According to the present invention, the shielding material provides an excellent thermal insulation function, a refractory function, and a radiation shielding function. |
