A downlink transmission beamforming method for considering neighboring cell interference in a wireless communication system and a device therefor are provided to enable each base station to generate transmission beamforming weight by considering interference on users of neighboring base stations and beamforming gains for self users, thereby improving reception performance of users at cell edges. Signals received from neighboring base stations are measured at certain intervals to measure average channel information from each base station(601-605). A candidate base station set including at least one base station which largely influences on an average signal to interference and noise power ratio among the neighboring base stations is determined by using the average channel information(607). The candidate base station set and the average channel information of the base stations included in the candidate base station set are transmitted to a self serving base station(609,611). |
