METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR INPUTTING NEW HANGEUL LETTERS BY USING SPECIAL SYMBOL

A method and an apparatus for inputting new Korean letter by using the Korean letter and a special symbol are provided to indicate a pronunciation according to international phonetic symbol and input new Korean letter by using the special symbol. An input unit(100) includes a keyboard and a keypad. A letter editing unit(200) performs edit and input functions by determining location about special symbol. A memory unit(300) stores input information from the input unit and stores information about edited letter in the letter editing unit. A display unit(400) performs a function displaying a digital operation processing result.
