An idle channel, an idle channel list updating device and a method thereof for preventing the collision of the communications channel between base stations are provided to prevent the collision of communications channel and to update the idle channel list of low priority according to a determined priority according to a reference value by sharing the idle channel list between base stations. A first idle channel list including idle channel information and a second idle channel list are received. A priority between the first idle channel list and the second idle channel list is allocated according to reference value(S440).
