According to the present invention, a pulse width modulation (PWM)-type DC-DC converter comprises a switching unit including a charging switch and a discharging switch turned on and off reversely, an inductor storing charged energy, and a capacitor storing discharged energy, and converting an input voltage into an output voltage; a proportional integral and derivative (PID) controller including an error amplifier and comparing the output voltage input to the error amplifier with a pre-set reference voltage to generate a PID control voltage; a comparing unit comparing the PID control voltage with a ramp voltage to generate a switch control voltage; a switching controller generating a switch control signal based on the switch control voltage, supplying the switch control signal to the switching unit to turn on the charging switch and simultaneously turn off the discharging switch during an ON section of the switch control voltage and turn off the charging switch and simultaneously turn on the discharging switch during an OFF section of the switch control voltage; and an operating point compensating unit operating according to an operating point compensation signal to supply an initialization voltage having a certain level during a predetermined period for initial driving to a node Na to which the PID control voltage is outputted. |
