PURPOSE:To allow the cost reduction of display marks, the formation of the high-grade display marks by the improvement in quality and the production of the display marks having the appeal by the elimination of the design restrictions of the display marks. CONSTITUTION:The processing over the entire part where the non-fluctuating display mark and the fluctuating display mark coexist is completed by a laser continuously in one stage. The serial numbers for the desired processing of a work and the character style data are integrally stored in a scan controller of the laser beam of a known laser engraving machine and the scanning processing is executed by automatically setting the serial number intrinsic to the work at every changing of the setting of the work. Namely, the working of the two marks, the non-fluctuating display mark and the fluctuating display mark is completed continuously within one stage by the scanning of the laser beam in one time of setting and, therefore, the misregistration of the non- fluctuating display mark and the fluctuating display mark from each other does not arise. |
