<p>The invention concerns a rail renewal train (T1), comprising: - a rail handling car (3a), designed to remove old rails (111) and unload new rails, - at least one rail transportation and storage car (2a), hitched to said rail handling car. The handling car (3a) comprises at least one means (50) for grasping the old rails and the new rails.
