This air intake control valve is provided with a valve body and an elastically deformable seal section which seals between the valve body and the inner wall surface of an air intake port. The seal section is formed in a bent shape having a first hinge section and a second hinge section, which serve as support points during the elastic deformation of the seal section. While the valve body is at a closed position, one of the first hinge section and the second hinge section is disposed on the upstream side of the air intake port and the other is disposed on the downstream side.
