<p>Provided are a system and a method which achieve rapid processing of switching from a working-system server in which a failure has occurred to an auxiliary system server. The present invention is a computer system provided with a plurality of computers and a management computer which manages a cluster configured from the plurality of computers, wherein: the cluster includes a plurality of first computers that use a storage device to perform business work, and a plurality of second computers that take over the business work; and the management computer has a backup acquisition unit and a restore pair management unit. The restore pair management unit classifies the plurality of first computers into a plurality of groups having a common software configuration for providing business work, and for each of the plurality of groups, by associating one or more first computers included in one group with at least one or more second computer, one or more restore pairs are generated, and from among backup images of the one or more first computers included in one restore pair, a shared image is determined.</p> |
