Disclosed are a visible light communication system, a system data modulation method therefor, and a performance information feedback method. In the system, a transmitter respectively modulates a plurality of data pieces through a plurality of LED channels formed by a plurality of LEDs and transmits the modulated data as optical signals corresponding thereto. A receiver receives the optical signals transmitted from the transmitter and respectively demodulates the optical signals into signals of the plurality of LED channels. Here, the receiver estimates a state of the plurality of LED channels to determine performance information on the plurality of LED channels so as to feed back the performance information to the transmitter, and the transmitter determines a modulation order for each LED channel according to the performance information on the plurality of LED channels fedback from the receiver so as to respectively modulate the plurality of LED channels for the plurality of data pieces.
