The present invention is equipped with: a body section (30), in which are formed a decompression space (30b) that decompresses a refrigerant flowing from a rotation space (30a), a suction passage (13b) that draws in refrigerant from the outside, and a pressurizing space (30e) that mixes and increases the pressure of the injected refrigerant injected from the decompression space (30b) and the indrawn refrigerant drawn in from the suction passage (13b); and a conical passage-forming member (35) arranged in the interior of the body section (30). A nozzle passage (13a) is formed between the inner circumferential surface of the decompression space (30b) and the outer circumferential surface of the passage-forming member (35), a diffuser passage (13c) is formed between the inner circumferential surface of the region forming the pressurizing space (30e) and the outer circumferential surface of the passage-forming member (35), and a rotation-promoting section formed of flow adjustment plates (38a) that promote the rotational flow of the refrigerant flowing through the diffuser passage (13c) is provided. Thus, high nozzle efficiency and high pressurizing capability can be achieved without increasing the size of the ejector and regardless of load variation in a refrigeration cycle. |
