A method and device for transmitting data between a vehicle provided with an on-board electronic device (15) comprising a circuit for transmitting/receiving signals provided with an on-board antenna and an electronic device on the ground (8) comprising a circuit for transmitting/receiving signals and at least one fixed antenna (5) placed on a track (2). The electronic device on the ground (8) detects a disturbance in a magnetic field to which said fixed antenna is sensitive, when a vehicle passes in the vicinity of this fixed antenna. The electronic device on the ground (8) compares said disturbance with at least one stored decision criterion. The electronic device on the ground (8) authorises and synchronises data exchanges between the circuits for transmitting/receiving signals of the on-board electronic device and the electronic device on the ground, if said disturbance corresponds to said decision criterion, via the onboard antenna and the fixed antenna. |
