PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum interrupter reduced in the electrical stress of a central shield, capable of being manufactured simply, and easy in cleaning.SOLUTION: In order to prevent arc plasma generated from an electrical contact of an electrode assembly from depositing on at least a portion of a surface of an insulator, a central shield includes a first segment configured to concentrically dispose the central shield with the insulator, a second segment extending away form the insulator, and a third segment extending toward the insulator and including a tip of the shield, while the axial direction distance between the first segment and the third segment is greater than the axial direction distance between the first segment and the second segment. |
