摘要 A method for determining a replication timing footprint comprises the following steps: (a) selecting a set of chosen regions of the replication timing profile of a chromosome of an individual, (b) choosing a set of selected regions from the set of chosen regions to form a set of selected regions and a set of unused regions, (c) conducting a iterative algorithm on the set of selected regions until a domain number for the set of selected regions has decreased to a predetermined minimum, (d) determining a replication timing footprint based the set of selected regions after step (c) has been conducted, and (e) displaying the replication timing footprint to a user.
