<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection valve capable of reducing production of a particulate substance when fuel is burned.SOLUTION: An injection hole 31 formed on an injection nozzle 30 is composed of a first opening 311, a first flow channel 312, a second flow channel 313 and a second opening 314. The cross-sectional shape orthogonal to the flowing direction of the fuel flowing in the injection hole 31, of the first opening 311 and the second opening 314 is rectangular, and a cross-sectional area of the first opening 311 is formed to be smaller than that of the second opening 314. Step faces 315, 316 are formed respectively between a side wall 331 forming the first flow channel 312 and a side wall 341 forming the second flow channel 313, and between a side wall 332 forming the first flow channel 312 and a side wall 342 forming the second flow channel 313. The fuel is expanded in the direction separating from a second central shaftφ2 to be atomized, when the fuel flowing in the injection hole 31 passes near the step faces 315, 316. Thus a production amount of a particulate substance can be reduced.</p> |
