PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game device capable of enhancing the degree of freedom in the arrangement of detection light and obstacles.SOLUTION: A game device includes: a base where obstacles with which a game medium collides are arranged on a board surface; and a sensor for detecting the position of a game medium when the game medium blocks detection light that has emitted from light emission parts and is to be received by light reception parts. The detection light is arranged to be higher than the obstacles when viewed from the board surface. |
