<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner suppressed in deformation of brush bristles of side brushes and effectively scraping off dust by the brush bristles.SOLUTION: A vacuum cleaner includes a body case 12 and a side brush 18 turnably mounted on the body case 12. A side brush 18 is provided with: a brush base part 31 which is turnable with respect to the body case 12; a sleeve 34 which projects from the brush base part 31, and the tip end side of which is non-contact with a floor surface F; and brush bristles 35 the tip ends of which project from the sleeve 34 to scrape off dust on the floor surface F. The sleeve 34 is more difficult to be deformed than the brush bristles 35.</p> |
