The present invention concerns variants of a naked collation package (1, 21, 31, 41, 51) comprising a plurality of individual units (2, 32, 52) laid end-to-end or side-by-side to form a unit row. The naked package of the invention comprises at least one interface (3, 33, 63) between a neighbouring pair of individual units in the unit row; the unit row being overwrapped with a sheet of polymeric film, the sheet being provided along its length, or part or parts of it, with one or at least two lines of weakness positioned in substantial register with the interface, said lines of weakness being oscillating lines of weakness. The invention also concerns processes for the production of said naked collation package. |
