PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove more easily an excessive part from a medium to be cut after being cut.SOLUTION: A cutting plotter is provided with: a pen block (13) for holding a scratching tool (21, 22) for scratching a medium (10) to be cut so as to be able to be pressure-contacted with or separated from the medium to be cut respectively; a moving mechanism (14a, 14b) for moving the pen block in the two-dimensional direction relatively to the medium to be cut; a control part (15) for moving the pen block by controlling the moving mechanism, to thereby allow the scratching tool held by the pen block to be pressure-contacted selectively with the medium to be cut; and a positional information input part (153, 15a) for inputting positional information for showing an optional position on the medium to be cut. Thus, the pen block is moved based on the positional information, and pressure contact and separation of the scratching tool is controlled, to thereby scratch the medium to be cut. |
