PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic signal control system which has resistance to a water damage such as flood and tidal wave so as to prevent signal control units from sinking due to the water damage such as flood and tidal wave.SOLUTION: The traffic signal control system comprises a signal pillar 4a on which signal lamp apparatuses 1a to 1d and 2a to 2h are installed, and signal control units (a signal control master unit 3a, a signal control slave unit 3b) for controlling the signal lamp apparatuses 1a to 1d and 2a to 2h. The signal control units (the signal control master unit 3a, the signal control slave unit 3b) are built into a hollow part which is formed on the signal pillar 4a. A signal line 5 for lighting wired between the signal control units (the signal control master unit 3a, the signal control slave unit 3b) and the signal lamp apparatuses 1a to 1d and 2a to 2h is pulled upward from the signal control units (the signal control master unit 3a, the signal control slave unit 3b) through the hollow part of the signal pillar 4a. |
