The high speed rudder (100) has a rudder blade (10), a propeller (30) forming a broad position of the rudder profile under a pressure angle. The propeller forms the narrow position of the rudder profile tapered from the middle area up to a rear area under another pressure angle. The rudder post journal is designed as a cantilever beam with a longitudinal drilling provided to retain the rudder shafts (40). The inner journal is arranged for the mounting of the rudder shafts in the rudder post journal.
