Stripping device (1) for automated stripping of a rotatable component (2), which is held on a vehicle, a machine or to another object, in a normal mounted condition, comprises a laser source (5), a cooler (6), a controller (7), a processing head with integrated laser optic comprising laser, a carriage comprising a traversing unit, a receiving device, which is arranged on the carriage, and a rotational means, which is held at the carriage. The processing head is mounted on the receiving means for automatically rotating the component, which is to be stripped. Stripping device (1) for automated stripping of a rotatable component (2), which is held on a vehicle, a machine or to another object, in a normal mounted condition, comprises a laser source (5), a cooler (6), a controller (7), a processing head with integrated laser optic comprising laser, a carriage comprising a traversing unit, a receiving device, which is arranged on the carriage, and a rotational means, which is held at the carriage.
