The element (A) has a main body (40) for passing a conduit (400) for circulation of fluid. An intermediate locking ring (70) is mobile in axial translation between a rear position in which an internal wall of the ring maintains locking balls (74) protruding in an insertion channel (42) in coupled configuration of a quick-connect coupling (R) and a front position of the element in which the locking balls are free to be pushed back opposite to a longitudinal axis (X- X') of the element to no longer protrude in the insertion channel under action of an actuating unit during disconnection maneuver. The actuating unit is an outer actuating ring (90).
