Provided are a novel Corynebacterium glutamicum strain and a producing method of protocatechuate using the same. The novel strain can grow under stress of 10 mM of H_2O_2. Moreover, the strain overexpresses genes associated with a beta-ketoadipate pathway under stress of 10 mM of H_2O_2, and accumulates protocatechuate which is an intermediate of the pathway. |
