According to one aspect of the present invention, provided is an apparatus for removing a carrier substrate which comprises: a carrier substrate holding portion which holds a carrier substrate separated from a flexible substrate; an inclination separating portion which transfers the flexible substrate to a predetermined angle and separates the flexible substrate and the carrier substrate with the substrate holding portion; and a transmittance measurement unit for measuring transmittance of the separated carrier substrate.
