Provided is a particle sorting device in which a lifting delivering device can be arranged compactly in the state of preventing an increase in contour dimension of the particle sorting device to the greatest extent. The device is provided with an inclination guide body in an inclined pose which guides a cluster of particles which is in a flowing state of one layer and flowing downwards wide in width; a lighting part which is arranged in the state of protruding towards two transverse outer sides of the inclination guide body and casts light towards a measuring object position; a light receiving part where the light received comes from light from the measuring object position in the state of an existing view angle unfolded in an unfolding direction of the clutch of particles and an existing resolving power; a discrimination processing part which discriminates the particles which is objects to be separated on the basis of light reception information of the light receiving part. The lifting delivering device which delivers the particles in a lifting manner is arranged in a transverse side of a part closer to an upstream side of the inclination guide body than the lighting part in the direction in which the clutch of the particles flow downwards, in the state of being located closer to the inclination guide body than an end part of the lighting part in the unfolding direction of the clutch of particles. |
