A method and device for overprinting page graphic elements. The method comprises: determining, according to attribute information of all original graphic element objects in the original description of a page, all the intersecting original graphic element objects; separating intersecting parts from each group of the intersecting original graphic element objects, using each separated graphic element object as an independent current graphic element object, and generating attribute information comprising path information of the current graphic element objects; for each group of the intersecting original graphic element objects, performing overprinting according to overprinting attribute information and color information of the intersecting original graphic element objects, determining color information of the current graphic element objects, and adding the color information into the attribute information; and generating, according to the attribute information of the current graphic element objects and attribute information of the non-intersecting original graphic element objects, the current description of the page. By using the method and device for overprinting page graphic elements according to the embodiments of the present invention, the overprinting of graphic element objects can be completed in the page description stage. |
